Harrison Knight graduated from Notre Dame College with a B.A. and later attended Weatherhead School of Management where she completed her MBA. She began her career in Information Technology in 1989.
She continued pursuing her career ambitions by establishing a career in technical consulting with IBM, later expanding her interest to include strategy after joining Booz Allen Hamilton.
Between work and writing, Harrison finds joy in watching her 6´7 teenage son participate in high school basketball, never missing his games. She has become quite enamored with the sport at the high school, college, and professional levels. She enjoys their loving relationship, and his desire to involve her as he explores his interest in watching and attending various college and NBA games.
Harrison comes from a large family of six siblings consisting of four sisters and two brothers. She enjoys traveling and spending time with them. Her family´s humor and wittiness help maintain her sharpness and quick thinking during their friendly roasts. To bring about balance in her life, Harrison´s fiancé provides support with his ability to challenge her to go the distance.
Harrison pays tribute to both of her parents who never stopped believing in her tenacious spirit and exploratory drive for new adventures since a very early age.
What you might not gather from Harrison´s book is that she is a huge proponent of pursuing matters of the heart. She encourages people, young and old to never stop dreaming, and to follow their dreams even when all seems impossible.
Harrison believes in incorporating real life experiences, including her own into her writing to capture realism that the reader could easily identify with. Her familiarity with each character becomes apparent with the intimate details she shares about each personality while carefully intertwining them into the story´s plot.
